How one town turned the tables on a school prank

Whitney Kropp, 16, of West Branch, Michigan was shocked to find out she had been voted into the homecoming court.  It turned out to be a prank from bullies and she thought about committing suicide.  However, the town of West Branch, Michigan, rallied around her and a facebook page supporting her surpassed the town’s population and eventually received 120,000 likes!  Read more about this encouraging story in this article in the Detroit News.

    Thank you for visiting and following our blog. I have visited your blog more than once and really like that you are working to help people deal with and overcome bullying. I hope that your efforts, and those of others, will at least help those who are being bullied to know that they are not alone and that people care about them and wish them well.

    In her book “This is My Story”, Eleanor Roosevelt said: “No one can make you feel inferior without your consent.” I hope that more people can reach this understanding and not allow someone else to control their lives …. Thank you for your good works.
